My role in this project
Qualcomm wanted to clean up the slides that they already had but I showed them that they could achieve a higher-level look. I didn't ask them. I just did the work they asked for and then did it a second time because I knew I could achieve it within budget. This was a solo-run thing that I just went for and they loved it. And it became a new benchmark in how they present their Automotive offerings.
One thing that indicated that I would be able to two looks was that the content was already there and it was a very short deck. I wouldn't have tried this on a project that was starting from scratch or that was in a state of revision.
Once I had done the clean-up work (see 1:22 of the video) and learned the content, all I had to do was apply some of the keynote thinking I have also done for Qualcomm over the years.
