My role in this project
Slack had these really neat 3D visuals but they were being used as abstract backgrounds as an underlying motif without a whole lot direct connection to what they do.
So I grabbed the videos, cropping, flipping them, doubling them up to create more direct messages around processes, alignment, syncing...and then dropped in those words to more directly connect them to experiences that resonate with communications and chat channels.
These 3D pieces were used as high-level titles and section headers. And then we added in some cut-in shapes in to the meat of the slide decks to connect visally (a team of about 5-8 designers and PMs at various times throughout the duration of the project, which was about 2 months)
