These decks had a specific need to be continually moving since they would appear on monitors positioned in the Qualcomm booths at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show. I worked with a CG artist to create a rotatable car that could be viewed from any angle and also fused the layouts together for a more interactive and engaging look more suited for catching the eye of a passerby.
I guided two other designers and two illustrators to help hit some of the more meatier undeveloped slides that came in from the client on this particular deck. I showed the designers how to read through the content and identify the key points and how to quickly research the content over the web to verify our thinking. After making a few quick thumbnails based on our assessment, I had the designers work up some layouts and then reviewed their work over a couple of rounds. Same process for the illustrators, only I concepted the sequences ahead of time so the illustrators could focus on the execution.
The client felt it was so spot on and met the level of look for the show that only very minor tweaks were made from the first delivery, which is what you see in the video above.

The client was moving so fast (only 5 weeks from the event) that he pretty much asked me to read through the content and do my thing. The video below shows what the client sent and my first drafts, which were used pretty much as-is, with only minor tweaks on wording or minor technical updates that came in later from the client.
